About the Role
As a Program Analyst, you will report to the West Coast Waterfront Detachments Division Head and serve as the fleet liaison, addressing maintenance challenges and maintaining customer relationships. You will facilitate communication between SURFMEPP and local maintenance representatives, analyze maintenance issues, and provide recommendations. Your responsibilities will include monitoring maintenance performance, conducting ship visits, and participating in repair planning for deployed surface ships.
About You
Required:
- At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band NH-02 (GS-11 Equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
- Experience analyzing processes or procedures to improve operational efficiency or effectiveness of a ship repair, maintenance, or modernization program.
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
Preferred:
- Experience in program planning and providing technical expertise in maintenance performance.
- Familiarity with Condition Based Maintenance and its implementation.
