About the Role
As a Program Associate, you will help manage the Community Justice Connect storefront site, ensuring a welcoming environment for volunteers and clients. Your responsibilities will include recruiting and organizing volunteers, conducting outreach, attending community meetings, and supporting day-to-day operations of the program.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree and preferably 1-2 years of related experience working in at-risk communities or at least 5-6 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of community-based work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse backgrounds in a culturally-responsive manner.
Preferred:
- Experience in the nonprofit sector.
- Bilingual (English-Spanish).
- Strong commitment to social justice and anti-oppressive practice.
