Hospice of Florida is seeking a Program Director - Hospice to oversee their Hospice Program in Jacksonville, FL. The role involves providing overall leadership for hospice agency operations, focusing on growth, market relationships, financial management, customer service, and quality care delivery.
About the Role
As the Program Director, you will oversee and administer all aspects of day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with hospice-specific regulations and policies, including Medicare/Medicaid matters. You will manage local office affairs, impacting the lives of patients and their families, and work closely with established goals and objectives.
About You
Required:- Bachelor's degree in nursing, health care, or business administration preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in health care management, home health, hospice, or related health programs required.
- Two (2) years of hospice experience required with knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations.
- Operations and/or Sales Leadership experience required.
Preferred:- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships in the communities served.
- Skilled at establishing/maintaining working relationships with key staff and clinical staff.
- Experience in analyzing processes, improvement planning, and managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
