Summary
Ziply Fiber is seeking a Program Manager, FDC - Build Execution to join their team in Everett, WA. The role involves driving operational planning, milestone tracking, and cross-functional coordination to support the fiber build strategy.
About the Role
As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for translating build strategies into actionable work plans, maintaining cross-functional alignment, and tracking milestones across numerous projects. You will ensure efficient fiber deployment through structured updates and disciplined reporting, while also supporting program development and standardization efforts.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of telecom experience, including fiber planning, engineering, permitting or construction.
- Strong end-to-end understanding of the fiber build lifecycle and network readiness.
- Knowledge of permitting processes and third-party utility coordination.
- Experience managing operational backlogs and turning high-volume work queues into structured execution paths.
- Proven success driving accountability in cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect detailed operational data to broader program outcomes.
- Effective communicator able to simplify complex concepts and influence technical and operational teams.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and proven ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Smartsheet and program tracking tools.
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with SiteTracker, IQGeo, GIS tools or address management systems.
