Summary
Venice Community Housing Corporation is seeking a Program Manager to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves overseeing and supervising the team providing intensive and supportive case management services in permanent supportive housing settings.
About the Role
As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for guiding the daily work of the Intensive Case Management Services (ICMS) team, ensuring compliance with program requirements, and implementing evidence-based practices. Your duties will include supervising case managers, managing budgets, ensuring data accuracy for funding requirements, and participating in tenant lease-up processes. You will also provide crisis intervention and support to tenants, advocate for their needs, and maintain accurate tenant files.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in case management or related field.
- Bachelor's degree in social science or related field, or equivalent work/lived experience.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience working with homeless individuals with substance abuse, mental health issues, and/or chronic health conditions.
- Valid California Driver License, reliable vehicle and proof of insurance.
Preferred:
- Bilingual Spanish-English.
- Experience providing counseling and/or case management, LA County ICMS model preferred.
- Effective communication with diverse groups of individuals, including those that have experienced trauma.
- Experience and knowledge of Westside community and social services.
