Summary
SAIC is seeking a Program Protection (P2) Systems Engineer to join their team in Chantilly, VA. The role involves supporting advanced technology development and demonstration programs to enhance resiliency against global threats.
About the Role
As a Program Protection Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of satellite technologies. Your tasks will include researching emerging technologies, advising customers on technology gaps, and executing technology projects for successful transitions into customer systems. You will also perform technical analysis of advanced systems and support field test planning and execution.
About You
Required:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Physics with 9 years of professional experience; OR Masters and 7 years of professional experience.
- 5 or more years of related experience in a SETA or embedded integrator role.
- Experience with the Intelligence Community and/or the Department of Defense.
- Superb technical skills and experience related to space hardware, and satellite sensors and subsystems.
- Ability to lead and be the primary point of contact for one or more projects.
- Effective interpersonal skills and strong briefing and writing skills.
- Ability to communicate very technical subjects to a diverse audience.
Preferred:
- 10 or more years of related experience in a SETA or embedded integrator role.
