About You
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years of experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or autism.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to articulate information to a diverse audience.
- Must secure and maintain training requirements for Crisis Prevention Intervention within three months of hire.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must possess a valid driver's license which legally permits operating a motor vehicle.
- Degrees in Special Education, Human Services, Social Services, Psychology, and Criminology.

Company Overview Lifesteps is a local non-profit agency that has offered programs and services to individuals and families with life’s changing needs since 1923. Description Today, we provide care along life's journey for children, families, adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism, and seniors. We offer services like FREE child developmental screenings; Early Education Centers for children of all abilities; services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities such as day programs, life sharing and community homes; and a medically-monitored senior day program. General Information We serve 10 western Pennsylvania counties and are dedicated to providing quality care in a family-focused environment. We provide programs and services in Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Mercer, Washington, and Westmoreland counties.
