Summary
BKF Engineers is seeking a Project Accountant to join their accounting team in Oakland, CA. The role involves managing accounts and documentation with accuracy and reliability.
About the Role
As a Project Accountant, you will support the month-end closing process, prepare and review client invoices, assist project managers in reviewing project costs, and prepare project financial reports. You will also troubleshoot billing issues and perform other assignments as required, with the opportunity for hybrid-remote work.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a combination of education and experience.
- Exceptional communication skills (written and oral).
- Strong mathematical aptitude.
- Solid knowledge of Excel.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Preferred:
- Experience in Architecture or Engineering industry.
- Ability to interface with project managers, clients, and architects.
- Deltek Vision Accounting system experience.
