IntePros is seeking a Project Administrator to join their team in San Diego, California. The role involves providing administrative and accounting support to the South Region and interacting with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
About the Role
As a Project Administrator, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting contract provisions, setting up project information in the accounting database, verifying project rate schedules, initiating billing cycles, assessing project revenue, advising Project Managers on financial aspects, mentoring junior staff, and performing various administrative functions.
About You
Required:
High school diploma and a minimum of nine (9) years of experience in project administration and invoicing, or an associate degree and seven (7) years of experience, or a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and five (5) years of experience.
Ability to read and comprehend moderately complex instructions and contracts.
Knowledge of job costing and contract file administration.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency in Excel.
Accurate data entry, writing, and editing skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and manage multiple projects.
Ability to effectively present information to Project Managers and internal clients.
Valid U.S. driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
Preferred:
Prior experience with BST, Deltek, Wind2 accounting systems.
