GH2 Architects, LLC is seeking a Project Architect – Historic Preservation Architecture to join their team in the Tulsa Metropolitan Area. The role involves working on historic preservation projects, including rehabilitation and adaptive reuse of existing structures.
About the Role
As a Project Architect, you will be responsible for all facets of professional practice, including client relations, preparing project proposals, conducting on-site surveys, writing reports, cost estimating, and applying best practices in historic preservation. You will produce design development and construction documents using AutoCAD or Revit and follow projects from conception through construction.
About You
Required:
3-5 years of preservation experience.
Strong technical detailing skills related to restoration.
Ability to survey and evaluate historic masonry, wood, windows, and roof systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
Experience in preparing specifications and construction administration.
Familiarity with preservation planning and design.
