Summary
HDR is seeking a Project Architect for their Justice practice, ideally based in Tampa, FL, with options in Orlando, Jacksonville, or West Palm Beach. The role involves leading a multidiscipline team on architectural projects.
About the Role
As a Project Architect, you will lead a multidiscipline team, coordinate work through multiple project phases, establish meetings with clients, conduct site work sessions, review architectural documents, perform quality assurance and technical reviews, write specifications, and provide construction contract administration.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field.
- A minimum of 5 years experience.
- Registered Architect.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project Schedule).
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in use of Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and processes.
- Demonstrated graphic presentation skills.
- Experience in preparation and layout of architectural contract documents and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of codes and good planning skills.
- Commitment to being an active participant in an employee-owned culture.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Architecture.
- Experience in the design of civic and justice facilities.
- Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED.
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and 3-D Studio Max.
- Experience with Rhino and Grasshopper.
- Experience with Newforma.
