Confidential is seeking a Project Controls Manager - Infrastructure to join their team in North Dakota, USA. The role involves overseeing and optimizing all aspects of project controls for infrastructure construction projects.
About the Role
As a Project Controls Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing project controls systems across multiple infrastructure projects. You will lead scheduling and planning efforts, track and analyze project costs, support earned value management, oversee change order management, and generate progress reports. You will work closely with project teams to ensure alignment and conduct regular project audits and risk assessments. Additionally, you will train and mentor junior staff.
About You
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of experience in project controls in heavy civil, infrastructure, or utility construction.
Strong knowledge of project scheduling tools (Primavera P6 preferred, MS Project acceptable).
Proficiency with cost control software and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Procore, Viewpoint, Excel).
Solid understanding of construction project lifecycles, earned value management, and financial controls.
Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
Ability to work in North Dakota and travel to project sites as needed.
Preferred:
Experience working with DOT or public infrastructure clients.
