WATG and Wimberly Interiors is seeking a Project Coordinator - Architecture to join their team in New York, NY. The role involves planning and directing the design documentation of architectural projects from schematics through construction document phases.
About the Role
As a Project Coordinator, you will work closely with the Project Manager to oversee the design documentation process, coordinate construction administration activities, and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget. You will also manage a diverse project team, maintain client relationships, and implement processes to reduce project risks.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture preferred.
10+ years’ experience designing small to mid-size architectural projects, including urban and resort hotels.
Thorough knowledge of architectural production standards, detailing, building materials, building codes and construction.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
Preferred:
Professional license preferred.
Environmental accreditation preferred.
Sketching skills required.
Experienced in client management and project management.
Ability to work in a team environment and supervise others.
