Inside Higher Ed is seeking a Project Coordinator-Department to join their team at Augusta University. The role involves managing department-level projects and supporting large, complex, enterprise-level projects using best practice project management processes.
About the Role
As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of assigned projects, ensuring consistency with organizational strategy and goals. You will coordinate team meetings, implement standardized project management methodologies, create project charters and management plans, and facilitate project assessments.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field of study with a minimum of two years of experience.
- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university with five years of experience.
Preferred:
- Project management experience in an academic or hospital/clinical setting.
- Project Management Professional certification (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
- Experience with Waterfall project management methodology.
- Experience in using Microsoft Project or another scheduling software.
