Path Forward HR Solutions is seeking a Project Design Engineer - Mechanical to join their team in Columbia, SC. The role involves developing and sustaining their growing product portfolio, focusing on unattended retail and cooler business.
About the Role
As a Project Design Engineer, you will support and manage both small and large projects, develop and design new products such as AI Coolers and vending equipment, and troubleshoot electro-mechanical designs. You will also manage task timelines, collaborate with offshore manufacturers, and execute designs based on agency requirements while conducting tests for product improvements.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years experience in engineering or engineering design.
- Knowledge and understanding of Refrigeration systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of engineering design principles and practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other relevant design software.
- Ability to travel internationally a few times per year.
Preferred:
- Experience working in dispersed teams across multiple locations.
- Design and manufacturing experience in the unattended retail field.
- Experience with test procedures and environmental chambers or troubleshooting electro-mechanical machines.
