Ovivo is seeking a Project Engineer - Sedimentation to join their team in Salt Lake City, UT. The role involves managing technical aspects of projects related to sedimentation in water treatment.
About the Role
As a Project Engineer, you will review job data, manage technical aspects of projects, perform engineering analysis, prepare calculations and detailed drawings, and communicate with customers to resolve technical issues. You will also provide technical support to shop and field services and document design procedures regularly.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Civil engineering from an ABET accredited university.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in steel design or in water/wastewater equipment design.
- Proficiency in a 3D modeling software application.
- Ability to apply advanced mathematical equations to complex situations.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of heavy equipment and rotating machine design.
- Knowledge of welding, fabrication, and assembly techniques pertaining to structural steel.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and Vault.
- Experience using and generating parametric models.
