Summary
Jacobs is seeking a Project Manager - Ports & Maritime to join their team in Richmond, VA. The role involves managing complex maritime infrastructure development and coastal resilience projects from planning through construction.
About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, staffing, scheduling, and budgeting projects while ensuring quality of work product and staff safety. You will coordinate with subcontractors and a multi-disciplinary team to deliver innovative solutions, manage project financials, and work closely with the Sales team to grow the Ports and Maritime portfolio.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or related Engineering
- At least 7 years of experience in the delivery and/or management of waterfront infrastructure projects
- Experience in design or design management of waterfront projects or facilities
- Ability to work with a team of local and remote multi-disciplinary engineers and subject matter experts
- Ability to manage the successful delivery of contract documents and client deliverables
- Experience in the preparation of technical and cost proposals
- Good communication skills and ability to interface with clients and stakeholders
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Engineering
