Summary
AKS Engineering & Forestry is seeking a Project Manager- Land Development to join their team in Kirkland, WA. The role involves leading the development of civil engineering design services on various projects throughout the region.
About the Role
As a Land Development Project Manager, you will manage all components of projects from proposal preparation through construction support, develop and manage project scope to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery, design and prepare preliminary and final plans, perform site and infrastructure design, identify and pursue new clients, provide QA/QC review of deliverables, coordinate with principals and staff, and mentor junior engineering staff.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in civil engineering design.
- Washington PE license holder.
- Proven ability to identify and pursue business development opportunities in Washington.
- Strong written and oral communication skills including proposal and report writing.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred:
- Experience and/or training in project management.
- Civil 3D and/or MicroStation/InRoads design experience.
- Basic understanding of financial reports and solid time management skills.
