About the Role
As a Project Manager II, you will guide PMO-assigned projects throughout their lifecycle, manage project governance and documentation, and work with various departments to support NCSBN's strategic objectives. You will also provide regular updates to stakeholders and facilitate the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Four years of project management experience required.
- Experience leading multiple large to complex projects or programs from initiation through closeout required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) required.
- Understanding of program/project management best practice methodologies required (Waterfall/Predictive, Agile).
- Proficiency with technologies required to contribute to a PMO, including PM platforms, Jira, Salesforce, SharePoint, Smartsheets, Visio, etc.
Preferred:
- Experience leading cross-functional projects tied to organizational strategic goals strongly preferred.
- Ability to learn new project management technologies required.

The purpose of NCSBN is to provide an organization through which boards of nursing act and counsel together on matters of common interest and concern affecting the public health, safety and welfare, including the development of licensing examinations in nursing. NCSBN's programs and services include developing the NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN examinations, performing policy analysis and promoting uniformity in relationship to the regulation of nursing practice, disseminating data related to the licensure of nurses, conducting research pertinent to NCSBN's purpose, and serving as a forum for information exchange for members.
