Jacobs is seeking a Project Manager - K12 Buildings to join their team in Manhattan, NY. The role involves managing and delivering construction projects that enhance the lives of K-12 students.
About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will collaborate with clients, project team members, and subconsultants to ensure successful project delivery. Your responsibilities include contract management oversight, resolving complex project issues, and managing project progress, technical performance, task management, schedule, cost, scope, and safety. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction related field.
- 8+ years of experience as a technical specialist in construction and design related field, with 4 years managing all phases of construction.
- Experience interpreting contract documents such as specifications and shop drawings.
- Ability to display leadership and resolve critical issues pertinent to projects and clients.
- Experience in new and renovation construction projects.
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- Driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation.
Preferred:
- Prior experience with K-12 building construction and renovation projects.
- Experience with the JOC’s contracts.
