Summary
Synechron is seeking a Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of technology solutions within the capital markets space in New York, NY.
About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading large-scale capital markets technology programs, coordinating cross-functional teams, driving Agile and Scrum delivery, and ensuring solutions meet market regulations and operational needs. You will partner with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical roadmaps and demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills to manage global teams.
About You
Required:
- Proven experience in capital markets technology, specifically in trading, risk management, or post-trade processing systems.
- Strong background in Agile and Scrum methodologies, with experience as Scrum Master or Technical Program Manager in financial services.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including collaboration with business, compliance, and engineering teams.
- Ability to translate complex financial and regulatory requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing global virtual teams.
- Knowledge of financial products, trading platforms, market data, and regulatory frameworks like MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, or Basel.
Preferred:
- Previous experience working in high-frequency trading, electronic trading, or quantitative risk systems.
- Technical expertise in cloud platforms, data architecture, APIs, and security protocols relevant to capital markets.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, with a focus on automation and continuous deployment in financial systems.
