Amtec Staffing is seeking a Project Manager (Aerospace) to join their team in Temple, TX. The role involves managing on-site program activities for the US Army Bradley post production integration efforts.
About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will be accountable for supporting the program to achieve cost/profitability, schedule, and technical performance objectives. You will establish program direction, manage a matrixed team, and integrate program complexities. Your responsibilities include planning activities, managing risks, making ethical decisions, improving project performance, and presenting project status to senior management. You will lead diverse teams, manage project schedules, and act as the primary point of contact between the company and customers.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience.
- Effective communication skills both orally and in writing.
- Ability to manage and report project schedules and budgets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Master's Degree and 7 years of experience.
- Certification in Project Management from an industry-recognized organization such as PMI, PMP, or PgMP.
- Experience with Earned Value Management.
