Vestas is seeking a Project Portfolio Manager to join their team in Houston, TX. The role involves managing the portfolio of projects in the region, ensuring on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
About the Role
As a Project Portfolio Manager, you will collaborate with Global and Regional Supply Chain, Transport, Manufacturing, and CPX to manage project portfolios from EXW to On-Site Delivery. You will be responsible for managing changes in timing, configuration, cost, and cash profiles, as well as identifying and mitigating project-related risks to ensure on-time and full delivery. Additionally, you will optimize the portfolio for performance metrics such as on-time delivery and cost variance.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of relevant operational supply chain and logistics experience.
- Thorough understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, and transport in the wind industry.
Preferred:
- Cross-cultural awareness and experience in matrixed global organizations.
- Ability to engage and persuade stakeholders.
- High interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills.
