As a Project Specialist, you will be responsible for defining yearly goals for committees, analyzing areas for improvement, developing presentations, and communicating regularly with committee members. You will also oversee meeting agendas, minutes, and reports, and act as a liaison with IEEE staff and volunteer leadership. The role requires proactive problem-solving and the ability to work independently on special projects.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in communications, non-profit board/committee support, business administration, or project management.
Preferred:
- 4-7 years of business experience.
- Experience working with volunteer leadership based organizations.
- Familiarity with Roberts Rules of Order and organizational structures.
- Volunteer meeting management experience.
- PMP - Project Management Professional certification.
- Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential.
