Summary
Jackson Construction is seeking a Project Superintendent to join their team in Austin, TX. The role involves leading field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and with exceptional quality.
About the Role
As a Project Superintendent, you will oversee schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards. You will work closely with the Project Manager to align resources, resolve challenges, and maintain strong relationships with Owners, Architects, and Subcontractors. Your responsibilities will include enforcing safety regulations, managing project schedules, ensuring quality control, and leading the project closeout process.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is a plus.
- Experience overseeing full life cycle, commercial construction projects, with proven ability to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, construction methods, and quality control practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- K-12 construction experience.
- Proficiency in scheduling and project management tools (Phoenix Project Manager, P6, MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam).
