Summary
Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Projects Control Specialist to join their team in Jacksonville, Florida. The role involves organizing, coordinating, and facilitating site project controls in the Vision Care Major Capital Projects Program.
About the Role
As a Projects Control Specialist, you will support Capacity Expansion Steering meetings, coordinate capital requirements for major projects, assist Project Managers with capital funding processes, and manage procurement activities. You will also prepare purchase requisitions, coordinate invoicing timelines, and support project spend plans and forecasting. The position requires active collaboration with project managers and adherence to quality and safety standards.
About You
Required:
- A minimum of a High School Diploma is required.
- Related work experience with excellent project management and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience in supporting capital investment projects within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial procedures required for SOX compliance.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Business discipline.
- Experience in a GMP or medical device manufacturing environment.
- Analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of procurement systems and lean supply chain management.
