About the Role
As a Propulsion Engineer, you will develop work scopes for customer engines, disposition engine hardware, and become a subject matter expert on jet propulsion for engine programs such as CFM56, CF34-8, CF34-10, PP20, CT7, T700, and F110. This role is on-site and plays a critical part in ensuring safe, high-quality, and cost-efficient products for our customers while collaborating with cross-functional teams in the Strother Field manufacturing environment.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or institution strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, quality, materials, or technology.
Preferred:
- Six Sigma or equivalent quality training.
- Strong influencing and organizational skills.
- Effective problem identification and solution skills using structured methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and five-why.
- Leadership ability with strong communication and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills and MS Office.
- Ability to handle diverse activities simultaneously and work in a matrix organization.
