About the Role

As a Protection and Control Technician I, you will travel to customer sites to inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start-up, and collect data on low, medium, and high-voltage electrical systems. You will assist project leads with functional testing of substation control circuits, support various testing procedures, and help in the installation and maintenance of protective relays and associated systems. This position is designed for early-career technicians working under close supervision.

About You

Required:

1-2 years of field experience in basic relay testing, substation controls, and commissioning support under direct supervision.
Ability to crawl, climb, stand, and lift up to 75 lbs.

Preferred:

Associate degree in Electrical Power & Controls (EPC), Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
