About the Role
As a Protective Services Officer Armed III, you will patrol buildings and grounds to deter law violations, maintain communication with the Communications Center, and ensure only authorized personnel access hospital premises. You will respond to emergencies, assist clinical staff with patient restraint, enforce hospital policies, and provide information to patients and visitors. The position may require on-call responsibilities and reassignment to different locations as needed.
About You
Required:
- High School Degree or GED
- 4+ years technical experience in Criminal Justice, Police or Military preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Current OPOTA certification or ability to obtain certification within 45 days of hire
- Valid Driver's License with no more than 4 driving points recorded on a motor vehicle report
- No prior DUI/DWI convictions within the last 5 years
- No major moving violations convictions
