About the Role
As a Protective Services Officer Unarmed, you will be responsible for protecting patients, visitors, and employees by providing escorts, patrolling grounds, and mitigating safety hazards. You will deter criminal activity through routine patrols, enforce policies, monitor hospital activity on CCTV, intervene in confrontations, and document all duties performed.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license.
- BLS Basic Life Support certification required within 6 months of hire.
Preferred:
- Vocational/Technical Degree.
- 1-2 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of defensive tools and restraint equipment.
