About the Role
As a Provider Claims Service Representative, you will be responsible for handling provider phone calls and correspondence regarding benefits and eligibility. You will review and adjudicate claims based on contractual agreements, conduct cross-training for staff, and monitor outstanding inquiries to ensure compliance. Your role will also involve documenting files to support payment decisions and participating in user acceptance testing.
About You
Required:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in claims and/or call center.
- High School/GED required.
Preferred:
- Associate degree preferred.
- Healthcare or Managed Care experience preferred.
- Minimum 45 wpm typing preferred.
- Working knowledge of PC apps in a Windows-based environment.
