Summary
Palm Beach Accountable Care Organization is seeking a Provider Consultant for Broward County to serve as the primary liaison between the Healthcare Network and the provider community, ensuring excellent service and education regarding policies and initiatives.
About the Role
As a Provider Consultant, you will build and maintain relationships with primary care and specialty care physicians, conduct orientations, and represent the department in workgroups. You will also perform on-site visits and follow up on claims and procedural guidelines, while working independently as a telecommuter.
About You
Required:
- 2 years’ experience in Provider Relations and/or Managed Care Product Administration.
- Valid unrestricted driver’s license.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Health Care Administration or related field.
- 2 years’ experience in Provider Relations or medical office/hospital experience.
- 2 years’ exposure to medical claims processing procedures.
- Knowledge of Managed Care environment dynamics, including capitation and reimbursement structure.
