Premise Health is seeking a PRN Injury Prevention Specialist to join their team in Atlanta, GA. The role involves providing care to client employees in a health center, focusing on personal training and exercise program design.
About the Role
As a PRN Injury Prevention Specialist, you will execute one-on-one or small group personal training sessions, provide exercise leadership expertise, create individualized exercise programs, engage with fitness center members, and assist with specialty programs as needed. Your goal is to deliver a platinum customer experience while adhering to the latest exercise guidelines.
About You
Required:
- Personal Training certification from a nationally recognized authority organization (e.g. ACSM, NASM, NSCA) or a Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or a combination of education and experience.
- Current certification in CPR/AED and First Aid.
Preferred:
- Group Fitness certification from a nationally recognized authority (e.g. AFAA, ACE, IDEA).
- Minimum of two years of education in exercise science or a related field and at least two years’ experience in a similar position.
- Experience in performing fitness assessments including blood pressure, body composition, muscular strength testing, and submaximal cycle testing.
