About the Role
As a PSS Personal Support Specialist, you will provide in-home assistance as part of the client’s authorized care plan. Your duties will include personal hygiene tasks, meal preparation, assistance with daily living activities, and maintaining a hygienic living environment. You will have the flexibility to work per diem or full-time, primarily during the day shift, and will receive ongoing support from regional Nurse Managers.
About You
Required:
- Must enroll in PSS course upon hire and complete course within 6 months, or possess and maintain an active CNA certification.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Successful passing of background checks.
Preferred:
- Current PSS certificate or CNA certification.
- One year of clinical experience in home care.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
