Boulder Neuropsychological Services is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join their growing team in Boulder, CO. The role involves providing psychiatric prescription services and expanding treatment knowledge within a supportive environment.
About the Role
As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care. You will also monitor patient progress, maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
About You
Required:
Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health.
Current and unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Colorado.
Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
DEA license and fully independent prescriptive authority.
Experience in providing psychiatric care to diverse patient populations.
Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Compensation Range: $130-$150/hr based on experience, training, and billing codes used.
