About the Role
As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will collaborate with the Staff Psychiatrist to perform psychiatric nursing assessments, accurately diagnose mental health issues, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and provide psychotherapy. You will also assist in the clinical supervision and professional development of staff while coordinating integrated treatment services with community agencies.
About You
Required:
- Master's degree in nursing.
- Board certified in psychiatric mental health.
- Vermont certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
Preferred:
- Certification in both adult and child/adolescent areas.
- Two or more years of experience in public or private mental/behavioral health clinical services.
- Knowledge of medical records standards and regulations.
