About the Role
As a PT Customer Service Representative, you will contribute to the success of the organization by performing a range of administrative and customer service tasks. Your responsibilities will include managing lobby flow, addressing concerns, scheduling appointments, handling basic medical emergencies, assisting with medication pickups, and managing data in practice management software. You will also assist with retail sales and perform end-of-day financial transactions.
About You
Required:
- 1 year of experience working as a receptionist in veterinary medicine
- High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience
- Knowledge of clerical procedures and ability to organize files and records
- Excellent customer service skills, providing courteous and prompt assistance
- Accurate cash handling and cashiering abilities
- Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work at a keyboard or workstation for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, climbing, and lifting animals up to 50 pounds
Preferred:
- 2+ years of experience as a receptionist in veterinary medicine
- High volume experience
- Bilingual in Spanish
