About the Role
As an Inpatient Unit RN at Coastal Hospice, you will be responsible for providing medical care to hospice patients, completing assessments, administering medications, managing care plans, coordinating discharge planning, and educating patients and families on self-care and end-of-life issues. You will also oversee medication handling, delegate tasks to other staff, and participate in various shifts including weekends and holidays.
About You
Required:
- Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland, Delaware or other compact state.
- Experience in providing patient care in a healthcare setting.
Preferred:
- BSN from an accredited college.
- CHPN certification expected within two (2) years of employment.
