Jbs Mental Health Authority is seeking a PT Evening Crisis Care Center Housekeeping to join their team in Birmingham, AL. The role involves performing day-to-day cleaning of all areas of the Crisis Care Center to ensure a clean and sanitary environment for individuals experiencing a behavioral health and/or substance use crisis.
About the Role
As a PT Evening Crisis Care Center Housekeeping, you will be responsible for cleaning client rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, and other spaces within the Crisis Care Center. Your duties will include disinfecting surfaces, monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies, responding to housekeeping issues, and following infection control practices. You will work part-time hours from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, every other weekend.
About You
Required:
- High school graduate or GED.
- Knowledge of environmental services.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Ability to work independently and maintain a positive attitude.
- Trained in or willing to be trained in crisis intervention, specifically Therapeutic Options.
