About the Role
As a PT Home Health, you will be responsible for providing physical therapy interventions, conducting reexaminations every 30 days, modifying interventions as necessary, and performing discharge planning. You will work closely with patients to ensure they receive the best care possible in the comfort of their homes.
About You
Required:
- Current license to practice physical therapy specific to the state you're assigned to work in.
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy educational program as set by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
- One year related physical therapy experience for PTs entering home health care.
Preferred:
- Approval from regional clinical leaders if less than one year of experience, along with appropriate mentoring and/or participation in a residency program.
- Current CPR certification.
