About the Role
As a PT Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching assigned classes, maintaining current knowledge in your discipline, and providing opportunities for students to track their progress. You will also be required to submit grades and maintain student confidentiality as per regulations.
About You
Required:
- Master's degree in kinesiology, physical education, exercise science, or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree in the same fields plus a Master's degree in a life science or related area.
- Certification as an athletic trainer (ATC) for the Athletics instructor position.
Preferred:
- Experience in community college or high school teaching.
- Experience in assessing student learning outcomes.
- Experience in online education or certification.
- Certified Athletic Trainer, First Aid/CPR instructor certification for Kinesiology.
- Demonstrated experience in fitness training, yoga, or martial arts for Physical Education.
