About the Role
As a Cloud Compute Engineer, you will apply engineering best practices, develop tooling for a cloud-first strategy, and contribute to innovative solutions in cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with technology teams to align with business goals and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
About You
Required:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience deploying or operating workloads in AWS or GCP.
- Basic experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience deploying and managing applications on container orchestration platforms (GKE, EKS).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language; Python preferred.
Preferred:
- Experience building and managing custom machine images for AWS or GCP.
- Exposure to container orchestration concepts and event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of security best practices, including IAM and encryption.
- Experience with monitoring and observability in cloud compute solutions.
