About the Role
About You
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
- High school education or GED.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- CPR (Heart Saver) certification within 4 months of new position.
- CPI (Crisis Prevention) within 4 months of new position and must renew annually.
- Management of Aggressive Behaviors (MOAB) Training within 4 months of hire and must attend MOAB training every 2 years.
- 1 year prior experience as a Healthcare Security Officer.
- International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety basic certification program (IAHSS).
- Good writing and verbal skills with the ability to produce concise, accurate reports.
- Ability to relate to all age and ethnic groups in a courteous and professional manner.
