About the Role
As a Public Works Project Manager, you will manage the full life cycle of projects, including proposal initiation, execution, control, and closeout. You will participate in project scope development, manage project teams, hold progress review meetings, and maintain client relationships. Your responsibilities include ensuring project terms are met, minimizing delays and cost overruns, and supervising project team morale.
About You
Required:
- 4-year engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.
- 8+ years’ experience in the civil engineering field with some project management experience.
- Extensive design and construction experience in Public Works, Transportation/Roadway, Drainage, and Water/Wastewater.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Louisiana State Professional registration (Civil Engineering Preferred) or reciprocity within 90 days after employment.
Preferred:
- Strong computer skills including experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation.
- Ability to lead design teams and develop new staff.
