Credo is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to join their Applications Labs team in San Jose, CA. The role involves supporting purchasing operations and ensuring efficient procurement of goods and services.
About the Role
As a Purchasing Assistant, you will manage procurement activities, create purchase requests, track orders, coordinate deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods. You will also support the development and implementation of procurement workflows, maintain organized records, assist with equipment repair management, and collaborate with lab teams on general activities.
About You
Required:
Excellent communication skills with negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in purchasing software (Coupa preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
Prior experience in procurement or purchasing roles.
Understanding of inventory management practices.
Familiarity with vendor management and supply chain processes.
Preferred:
Strong communication and negotiation capabilities.
Detail-oriented with excellent multi-tasking and organizational abilities.
Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
Experience supporting procurement workflows.
Understanding inventory and vendor management best practices.
Benefits
Base salary range of $19 – $31 per hour.
