About the Role
As a Purchasing Coordinator/Analyst, you will be responsible for examining purchasing trends, coordinating business contracts, evaluating products and vendors, preparing bids and quotations, providing assistance to District staff regarding purchasing matters, implementing an e-procurement system, and maintaining various purchasing records and reports.
About You
Required:
- Associate degree in business or a related field and five years of increasingly responsible experience in purchasing, including two years in the public sector.
- OR a Bachelor of Science degree in business or a related field and three years of increasingly responsible experience in purchasing, including two years in the public sector.
Preferred:
- Certification as a Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) or completion within one year of employment.
Benefits
- Salary range of $6,591.44 - $9,313.54 monthly.
- Maximum entry-level salary of $6,925.14 monthly.
