About the Role
As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for executing purchasing strategies that align with the company's market-driven goals. Your duties will include analyzing market conditions, advising stakeholders on purchasing issues, leading strategy deployment and KPI reviews, and ensuring an uninterrupted supply of materials. You will also partner with various departments to coordinate supply chain functions and develop process improvements.
About You
Required:
- BS/BA in Supply Chain Management or Equivalent.
- 5+ years of sourcing/purchasing experience with 3+ years of management experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, & Outlook).
- Solid experience with major MRP software/tools.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred:
- Strong demonstrated SAP experience.
- APICS/ASCM Certification.
- MBA or Master's degree.
