Summary
Siegfried is seeking a QC Chemist III to join their team in Irvine, CA. The role involves providing advanced technical expertise in chromatographic analyses and supporting raw material and finished product release.
About the Role
As a QC Chemist III, you will act as a senior member of the QC Analytical team, executing complex QC chemistry testing, providing expertise in HPLC and GC methods, troubleshooting chromatographic methods, participating in method transfers and validations, and authoring laboratory investigations and technical reports.
About You
Required:
- B.S / M.S in Chemistry
- 8+ years of experience in a Chemistry Laboratory
- 5+ years of experience in a GMP QC Laboratory
- Knowledge of quality systems, FDA, ICH and compendial requirements
- Demonstrated excellence in LC/GC analyses
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause investigation skills
- Excellent written/oral communication skills
- Competency with routine software programs (MS Word, MS Excel)
Preferred:
- Experience in sterile drug product testing
- 2+ years leadership or mentoring experience
- Experience in Customer-focused Laboratory Environment
