About the Role
As a Qualified Medication Aide, you will assist patients with daily activities, administer medications, and monitor changes in their conditions. You will work closely with a team of nurses to ensure the best care for patients and maintain accurate records of their treatment.
About You
Required:
- Certified as a Qualified Medication Assistant by the State of Indiana.
- Successful completion of Resident Care Assistant and Medication Assistant Training courses.
- Successful completion of the 60 hour Qualified Medication Assistant course and the 40 hour practicum.
- Pass the Qualified Medication Assistant exam.
- Registered with State Department of Public Instruction.
- Meet all qualifications for Nurse Assistant.
- Proven ability and experience as a resident care assistant.
- Pass the physical examination required at employment.
Preferred:
- Experience in long term care.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and behavior.
