Candescent is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer IV to join their team in Atlanta, GA. The role involves delivering high-quality software and championing a culture of quality throughout the product development lifecycle.
About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Engineer IV, you will work closely with Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, and cross-functional teams to plan, build, and execute testing strategies. You will take ownership of the entire product experience, develop comprehensive testing plans, execute various tests, document defects, and collaborate on product design and development. Your responsibilities will also include monitoring quality metrics and driving continuous improvement across teams.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in QA using manual and automated testing for APIs and systems.
- Expertise in smoke, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
- Proficiency with test automation tools and frameworks: Java, JavaScript, Postman, Newman, Cucumber, JMeter, Selenium.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and troubleshooting complex issues quickly.
Preferred:
- Advocate for Agile Scrum methodologies and SAFe frameworks.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitHub CI).
- Deep understanding of secure solution design principles.
- Familiarity with concurrent backend environments and multithreading.
- Experience with tools or languages including Ruby, Python, Perl, Node.js, Bash, C, C++, Docker, Kubernetes.
